Overall decent experience. The ambiance was very nice. Had a nice cape coddy/nautical feel. Located walking distance from downtown mystic. The service was awesome. Great people, very kind and you can tell they like their job. The food was good, but not the best I've ever had. The steak was incredible. The appies were decent but nothing special. Desert was weird. Chocolate with nuts and fennel was a strange mix. The potatoe fingerlings were delish! The prices were expensive but on par with everything else in the area. I'd probably come back.

delicious delicious food and a friendly warm staff. we came for happy hour and indulged in half price oysters and their $6 handcrafted cocktail of the day. such a great deal, especially since they offer it 7 days a week! this was our first time visiting mystic but we've already decided that whenever we come back we're visiting the oyster club! the steak tartare was incredible. i'm still thinking about it today!

Arrived 45 minutes before my reservation but the staff let me sit at my table and order a half dozen oysters before the rest of my party arrived. The service is impeccable, friendly and super helpful. The oysters were so fresh, and the appetizers were dream-worthy! Loved the crispy Brussels sprouts and the beets. The Oysters Rockefeller were rich and decadent. The beef ragu tagliatelle was warm and comforting. We were surprised, though, that there were not more fish options on the entree menu.

Walked in a on busy Saturday night and got the last 2 seats in front of the kitchen and it couldn't have been better!! Oysters were fresh and chatted with the guy shucking them, he was so knowledgeable and kind! The drinks were so unique and fun!' The food was amazing got the whitefish kielbasa with pirogies, the cornbread, and the burger. Such unique options and my husband (retired chef) was very impressed!

Everything was wonderful The food was outstanding and fresh. We had the monkfish, pasta, sourdough bread, oysters and empanadas. When I tell you, wow... wow. Such a nice wait staff and great service. We sat in the treehouse area and it was beautiful. We are from Long Island visiting and we will def be back.

When we were relegated to the Treehouse despite the empty main dining room, I had my doubts, but Oyster Club has some creative options. Small plates are more abundant than entrees, presumably meant for mixing-and-matching with the namesake bivalve. The $12 Rhode Island clam chowder has me once again referring to the Pulp Fiction $5 milkshake reference, but salt pork does fine work here. The salted fluke was the delightful star of the taramasalata toast. Given my massive lunch, I kept it light here, and only got two Niantic oysters, but they were great as were the accompaniments.

Marvelous restaurant. Beautiful decor with fresh, delicious seafood. Our server, Sarah, was very knowledgeable, patient and professional. Pleasant background music, dimly lighted and very clean. We were seated immediately at a table by the window. Just...perfect.

Wow. You'll want to run, not walk to Oyster Club. Here's why. We were celebrating a special occasion and wanted to have a nice meal in Mystic. The food was phenomenal and the service was even more outstanding. The dining room we sat in was nicely decorated. It reminded me of an elevated lodge/log cabin. It had wood paneled walls, chandeliers made of branches and chairs with plaid upholstery. Aside from it being a nice looking spot where it's clear they paid attention to details, the food definitely hit the mark for me. Ordered: Sourdough ($7)- it was served with olive oil even though on the menu it said it'd come with lemon dill butter. I'm guessing they ran out of the butter. It was good but I wouldn't pay $7 for bread next time. Caesar salad ($14)- this was my favorite thing that I ordered! Instead of romaine lettuce, the salad was made of blanched string beans which were tossed in a delicious Caesar dressing and topped with breadcrumbs. New England clam chowder ($12+$1.50 for oyster crackers)- the soup was light and although it was creamy it wasn't thick. It has a good amount of potatoes, salt pork and clams. It was a nice sized portion. The oyster crackers were good too. Burger ($17+$1 for onion jam)- this was a really nice burger. The onion jam is well worth it! The burgers and fries were a little too salty. Monkfish ($35)- the waitress upstairs at the Treehouse and our waitress downstairs recommended the monkfish. I'm glad I ordered it! It had a nice crisp crust and was well cooked. The accoutrements were tasty- sweet corn and turtle beans. Shoutout to our waitress Sarah, she was great! I would 100% return to Oyster Club!

We have had our eyes on Oyster Club for years and finally made the stop this weekend for a birthday dinner. One thing is for certain - this was our first visit of MANY future visits to come! We had a cozy private booth in the restaurant and enjoyed a few different cocktails and dishes. Our favorites included the beets, tuna, and the almond cake for dessert but every single bite we had was outstanding. Their service is second to none and our server happily offered advice and attention along the way. They had quite a few vegetarian options for me as well which is always a big win. We can't wait to come back again soon - from start to finish this was one of the most special dinners we have had in a long time. Thank you for a beautiful night!

There are so many popular restaurants in the Mystic area, but the Oyster Club is a must! On a beautiful afternoon, head up to The Treehouse, located behind the restaurant for happy hour and some oysters or a lobster roll. Not all lobster rolls are created equal, and this one hit the spot! The oysters were so delicious and fresh. For dinner downstairs we had the oysters Rockefeller, duck rillette, New England clam chowder, empanadas, beets, and the katsu monkfish. Everything was bright and flavorful, but the beets and the monkfish stole the show for us. These two dishes were so well executed and brought some unique flavor combinations together that really stood out. The team working there were so kind and incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu. They change out menu items regularly so when you go back, you're able to try something new each time. Already looking forward to our next visit!
